Depression and Anxiety
Depression is a mood disorder characterized by short-term emotional responses to a serious health condition associated with impaired daily functioning accompanied by symptoms such as sadness and frustration, feelings of guilt, insensibility, and loss of interest.
Anxiety is an emotion that can range from mild to severe and is characterized by feelings of fear, worry, or dread. It's a normal part of life to feel anxious sometimes, but anxiety disorders involve more than occasional worry. People with anxiety disorders experience intense and excessive fear and worry that can be difficult to control and can last a long time.
